Description of Drontal P Bone Dog Appetizing Tablets
Bayer's Drontal P Bone Dog is a versatile broad-spectrum dewormer for dogs over 2kg. It is designed for the treatment of infestations with parasites sensitive to febantel, pyrantel and praziquantel such as the following nematodes (roundworms) and cestodes (tapeworms):
- Nematodes (roundworms): Trichuris vulpis, Ankylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina
- Cestodes (tapeworms): Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp
Administration to animals is made easier by the new beef flavored formula. The unique combination of the three molecules Fébantel, Pyrantel and Praziquantel make it a model for the fight against worms including Echinococcus multilocularis responsible for echinococcosis.
Directions for use of Drontal Dog
Administer, in a single dose, the tasty tablets of
Drontal P Bone Chien , at the rate of one tablet per 10 kg of weight according to the following dosage examples:
- Dogs from 2 to 5kg: 1/2 tablet
- Dogs from 5 to 10kg: 1 tablet
- Dogs from 10 to 15kg: 1.5 tablet
- Dogs from 15 to 20kg: 2 tablets
The tablets can be administered to pregnant females from five weeks gestation as well as during lactation. They exhibit good tolerance for all dog breeds. When there are worms, consider combining an
effective natural anti-flea treatment for your dog, these parasites transmit worms (Dipylidium). The frequency of deworming depends on the age of the animal and its physiological stage (gestation…). The dewormers have no persistence, that is to say that their action does not last over time, it is for this reason that your animal must be dewormed regularly, respecting the deworming schedule.
